First of all, welcome to Fatz MetalWorks. I am a local Sarasota metal artist and I love what I do. As always, I am working hard to create one of a kind sculptures and creations. I will feature some of my creations and my work here and will continuously be adding to my collection of one of a kind pieces and artwork. I am the creator of one of a kind portraits and sculptures made in metal. I do all of my designing and creating out of my workshop in Sarasota, Florida. Once a chef in Long Island, N.Y. I moved to Florida to start on a different chapter in my life. I have always had a passion for metal and creating items that were inventive and original. I love coming up with unique works of art that are artistic and that have meaning for the owners. That is why all of my pieces are hand crafted. This is something I have always been interested in so one day I just started doing lots of reading and research and went out and over time bought all kinds of cool tools and just went with it, and pretty much taught myself everything.
My goal and mission is " Creating metal things that will last forever " and that is what I strive to do in every piece of artwork I create.
My subject range is quite varied and I get my inspiration from the world around me. From portraits of famous people, exotic animals and everyday scenes painted on metal, to sculptures of fish and delicate flowers. My mind is always working to come up with fun and inspired pieces that you would be thrilled to add to your collection or to show off to your friends.
Every piece of art is made to order from raw steel, not mass produced. No two items are exactly alike.
